Important: no built-in enrichment
These CRMs store and organize contacts. None bundles Clay's waterfall of data providers, so you need separate enrichment tools or scripts.

We looked for open-source tools that store and manage contacts, companies, and deals. We verified each project's license, recent activity, stars, and self-hosting in its repository. Clay is mostly an enrichment and outreach automation tool, so these are partial replacements. See our methodology for the full criteria.
These CRMs store and organize contacts. None bundles Clay's waterfall of data providers, so you need separate enrichment tools or scripts.
Twenty is a modern CRM for technical teams with a customizable data model, no-code workflows, and REST, GraphQL, and MCP APIs. Relaticle is a self-hosted CRM with built-in AI chat and an MCP server with 37 tools, where you bring your own AI keys.
Frappe CRM manages contacts, deals, and customer relationships with no per-user fees and integrates with ERPNext and WhatsApp. EspoCRM is a long-running CRM for contacts, companies, and opportunities, and Warpdrive is a small MIT Pipedrive-style tool for business development.
Twenty is AGPL-3.0 with some commercial files. Frappe CRM, EspoCRM, and Relaticle are AGPL-3.0. Warpdrive is MIT.
All except Warpdrive had commits within days of this update. Warpdrive is small with about 76 stars.
Clay is a proprietary credit-based platform that enriches leads from many data vendors, so costs depend on credits and your lead data lives on its servers. Open-source CRMs keep customer data on your infrastructure and avoid per-seat pricing, but you must add your own enrichment providers.
