We looked for open-source tools that collect customer feedback and share roadmaps. We verified each project's license, recent activity, stars, and self-hosting in its repository. We left out Changes.Page, a changelog generator, because we could not find its repository. See our methodology for the full criteria.
Fider is a simple self-hosted feedback tool where users submit and vote on suggestions. LogChimp collects, organizes, and prioritizes feedback with tagging, voting, and status workflows, and ClearFlask adds public roadmaps, announcements, and cloud or self-hosted deployment.
ShipShipShip is a changelog and roadmap application with community voting and a Kanban roadmap, but it is young. Reflet is a feedback platform with AI triage, voting, public roadmaps, and GitHub sync.
Reflet is under the Server Side Public License (SSPL), which is source available and not OSI open source, and has about 40 stars. LogChimp keeps ee directories under a commercial license. ClearFlask's cloud uses pay-as-you-go pricing.
