Important: different tools for different jobs
Langflow, Botpress, and Typebot are visual builders. Parlant is a framework that controls agent behavior with guidelines rather than flow diagrams. LiveKit and Dograh focus on real-time voice agents, and Hexabot and Tiledesk target multichannel and support agents. Pick by whether you need a visual designer, voice, or messaging channels.
Important: source-available and cloud-centered projects
Typebot uses the Functional Source License, and Hexabot uses the Fair Core License with an Apache 2.0 future license, so both are source available rather than standard open source. Botpress publishes MIT components such as its integrations and developer tools, but the platform itself is mainly a hosted cloud product.
Closest to Voiceflow
Langflow is the closest for visual agent building, with a drag-and-drop interface backed by Python, and it is MIT-licensed. Botpress and Typebot are the closest for chatbot flows, and Tiledesk covers no-code support agents with an enterprise edition for advanced features. LiveKit adds telephony and real-time media for voice.
License details
Langflow and Botpress's published components are MIT. Parlant and LiveKit are Apache-2.0, Dograh is BSD-2-Clause, and Tiledesk is MIT with enterprise credentials needed for its enterprise images. Typebot and Hexabot are source available.
