Important: CRMs, ERP suites, and toolkits are different
Twenty, CRM, Relaticle, Krayin, Frappe CRM, EspoCRM, Warpdrive, and Macro are CRMs. Odoo, ERPNext, Erxes, and Ever Gauzy are broader business suites where CRM is one module among accounting, inventory, or HR. Atomic CRM is a developer toolkit for building your own CRM rather than a ready-made product.
Closest to Attio
Twenty is the closest modern alternative, with fully customizable data models, no-code workflows, and an MCP server. CRM and Relaticle focus on AI agents: CRM creates records from your inbox and enriches them, and Relaticle exposes 37 MCP tools to external agents. Macro combines CRM with email, chat, and documents.
License details
Twenty is mostly AGPL-3.0, but some files are under a commercial license. Odoo Community is LGPL-3.0, while Enterprise is proprietary. Erxes is AGPL-3.0 outside its enterprise directory and forbids offering it as a competing SaaS. ERPNext is GPL-3.0, Frappe CRM, EspoCRM, Relaticle, and Macro are AGPL-3.0, and CRM, Krayin, Atomic CRM, and Warpdrive are MIT. Ever Gauzy's Community Edition is AGPL-3.0, with commercial editions available.
AI and MCP support
Twenty offers an MCP server and AI coding support, Relaticle has a built-in AI assistant with an MCP server, CRM builds agents from natural-language workflow descriptions, and Macro integrates AI agents in its shared workspace. Odoo adds AI document processing.
Maintenance status
All thirteen projects were updated within weeks of this update. Warpdrive and Relaticle are young, Warpdrive in particular with only a few dozen stars, so check their maturity before relying on them.
